CRS BOARD MEETING MINUTES November 1999

November minutes were read,accepted, and approved.
 
Calendar: General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 1999 at 7:30 Highland Public Library. Hal Slager will preside over the meeting discussing website features.
 
Gold Cup organizational meeting will be Thursday, December 2, 1999 at 7:30 at the Highland Public Library at which time the committee will prepare a proposed 2000 Gold Cup race schedule.
 
The Board will approve and vote on the 2000 Gold Cup Series race schedule at the next CRS Board Meeting on Thursday, December 9, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. at the Highland Public Library.
 
Holiday Party will be December 30, 1999 at Rubyís.
 
The Gold Cup Banquet is January 15, 2000 6:00 pm, House of Lynwood; invitations to be mailed with December newsletter.
 
Race Director Meeting is February 2, 2000 at 7:30 pm, Highland Public Library.
 
AAU Track Meet is February 25, 26, 27, 2000 at Merrillville High School. Volunteers needed.
 
Striderwear: Cost for purchase of Calumet Region Strider polo shirts will be approximately $17.00
 
Gold Cup Races: Discussion held on Pumpkin Prance 5K - no traffic control, DRK reporting inaccurate computer times. There will be no 2000 Door to Door Run (previous race director retiring).
 
Website: Suggestion made to sell web pages to race directors/host pages for other races - $50.00 - to be put on agenda for next meeting.
