The Jim Cox award is presented in memory of Jim Cox, the first Strider to run every race in the Gold Cup Series. Jim succumbed to leukemia in October, 1993 at the age of 57.
All Striders who complete the Gold Cup Series and a marathon of their choice will receive this award at the annual Gold Cup Banquet.
