The Long Distance Series

This series is designed for those runners who are interested in events of 10 miles or longer. This is a participation series (not competitive) that is separate from the Gold Cup series but does have several races in common.

Requirements:

1. Complete five (5) races in the series
2. The TALTREE TEN, SUNBURST HALF MARATHON and CALUMET MEMORIAL PARK DISTRICT MINI MARATHON are mandatory.
3. The BANK OF AMERICA CHICAGO MARATHON is mandatory (or another additional race of marathon length or longer, should the Chicago Marathon sell out).
4. One additional race of 10 miles or longer is also required.
5. Submit an application with appropriate fee before December 1, 2009.
6. Complete the LDS Verification form by 12/31/09.

The fee schedule is:

Gold Cup Member:	$ 5.00
Non-Gold Cup Member:	$10.00

Awards: will be presented at the Gold Cup banquet in January of the following year.
